CAMBODIA:
Price | 30$ visa on arrival and 37$ E-visa. All other prices are bullshit and scam |
Processing time | Few minutes for VOA and 1-2 days for Evisa |
Requirements | passport photo for VOA , digital passport photo for evisa |
Beside few african and middle eastern countries all other countries can get visa on arrival or they can apply online for E-visa. For E-visa check official site .
Visa on arrival cost 30$. not 20, not 35 just 30$. Often there is scam going asking you to pay 35$ for “fee”, for “help” for whatever. Simply welcome to Scambodia. You can go with it or you can be hardcore and argue with them until they let you with 30$. This is really usual if you’re going from Thailand via Poipet or going from Laos , Don Det. You wont have any problem with that if you land on Siem Reap or Phnom Penh Airport. You’ll just pay 30$ and voila. Scam is only going on overland borders. If you dont have picture with you they’ll charge you 1-2$ extra so dont worry if you dont have it. Also be sure to have US dollars with you or they’ll charge you in other currency but with very bed exchange rate.
E visa is pretty much useless and waste of money if you plan to fly into Cambodia, but if you’re going overland it could be nice. You wont be annoyed with all these touts trying to scam you. You can just wave them with evisa paper in your hand. Just check if your planed border crossing allow evisa.
VIETNAM:
